Grandview's Christian education program focuses on raising compassionate kids and does so through a program that includes worship, community building, learning and transformation through service.

To grow a group of little disciples with a big heart for Jesus.

Children from age 3 through grade 5 start out in worship at 9:30AM where they sing with the whole congregation and participate in a children's message before heading to Sunday School. Elementary kids are finding their place in God's Big Story. Junkyard drumming, drama, art, and storytelling are all part of the adventure. Pre-K and kindergarten kids have their own small, supportive environment for learning and growth.

For youth:
High school students meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 9:30 to 2 p.m. for an extended session that includes worship, discussion, youth_2013_2lunch and games.  They also have mentors who help guide them through the process of understanding and embracing their own faith and beliefs.

Middle school students have a similar extended session on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.  Current events and topics of interest to students often are a spark to their discussion.

youth_2013_3On off weeks, youth are encouraged to worship with their families and/or to assist in children's education.

The Searcher's /Contemporary Issues class  meets every week -- at 9:15 on the lower level. This class varies its topics. There have been book studies, Bible studies, and many interesting conversations.
